More than 40 years ago, Bandag revolutionized the tire retreading industry by introducing a cold "precured" process designed to produce durable retreads from used truck tire casings. At that time, Bandag had five employees and one manufacturing facility to produce and sell retreading materials to our one and only franchised, independent tire dealership.

From this humble start to today, Bandag's commitment to its people, products and processes has been the key to our many successes. Today we are a global company, with 15 production facilities on 5 continents, producing retreading equipment, more than 275 tread designs and sizes, and providing needed services to trucking fleets world wide.
